Flag Lane, the home of Crewe Flyers ASC

 

We are South Cheshire ’s premier competitive swimming club and train at Flag Lane Pool in Crewe, Cheshire UK with over 200 swimming members.

Origionally formed in 1939 as "Crewe Swimming Club" the club has gone through several manifestations, becoming "Crewe Flyers" when Steve Milhench became head coach.

Crewe Flyers is affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association, ASA Swim Northwest, North Midlands Amateur Swimming Association, Cheshire County Water Polo and Swimming Association.

Within our squads we have National Age/Youth winners and finalists, and we compete at County, District and National levels, including various open meets through-out the year.

Crewe Flyers also compete in the following team events:

  • Speedo League North West First Division.
  • Crudsader League.
  • Deva League.
  • Cheshire Championships.
  • North West Region.

 

Our aim is to place swimmers on the podium at all level meets.

 

Crewe Flyers aims to enable, through excellence in training and coaching, all club members to achieve their full potential, providing competition appropriate to their abilities. The Club aims to help swimmers achieve these objectives within a safe and fun environment.
