Clarification on Costumes

In response to a number of questions regarding the legality of costumes please be aware that the new FINA rules do not become ASA Law until September 1st 2009 and as such costumes must comply with the existing ASA Rule 411 . This essentially states that costumes must be in good moral taste, not transparent, and must not extend beyong the ankles, wrists or neck. If in doubt then you should seek clarification from the Lead Referee, during the meet.
