Eastwood laps up the medals at open event

Crewe Flyer Michael Eastwood, was in top form again as his team competed in an open meeting at Macclesfield.

The 11-year-old, who bagged four gold’s last time out, grabbed another three, in the 200m breaststroke, 200m Individual Medley (IM) and 200m free-style. He added three silvers and a bronze to his impressive tally.

Meanwhile, Flyer Rebecca Small took gold in the U11 200m butterfly and silver in the 100m butterfly race for her age group.

Silver medals also went to Jason Owen and Joseph Wood while Amy Buckley, Alexandra Parker and Owen took bronze.

Stephanie Eastwood, Casey Davidson, Marcus Ikin, Abigail Axon, Adam Price, Sian Davies, Russell Gibbons, Christie Shepherd, Emma Kinsey and Lisa McKenna also performed well.
