Ryan flys to grab gold haul

Crewe Flyer Ryan Thorley was among the top performers at the latest round of Age Group Championships at Crewe Pool.

The Under 8 star notched gold medals in the Freestyle and Butterfly, and took home the overall trophy for his age group for amassing the most points over the first three rounds of the series.

Other male winners were: Daniel Carragher (Open Individual Medley ); Aiden McFahn (U10 Freestyle, U10 Butterfly); Elliott Bloor (U12 Freestyle, U12 Butterfly); Joseph Wood (U14 Freestyle, U14 Butterfly). Overall trophy winners were: Toby Molyneux/Dale Barton (U10); Austin Barton (U12); Joseph Wood (U14).

Female winners were: Abbie Henderson (Open IM, U14 Breaststroke); Charlotte Rowlands (U8 Breaststroke); Charlotte Bradbury (U10 Breaststroke); Bryony Carragher (U12 Breaststroke). Overall trophy winners were: Charlotte Bradbury (U10); Bryony Carragher (U12); Abbie Henderson (U14).
