Flyers out-do their bestCrewe Chronicle - 21 Dec 2005Crewe Flyers sent 18 swimmers to a competition at the Stafford Apex in Wolverhampton, and they bagged 26 personal-best times between them. Silver medals were won by Elliot Bloor, Colette Foster and Lauren Sinclair. Colette Foster notched three bronzes, while Daniel Carragher and Bethany Mayer got one each. Dale Barton, Bryony Carragher and Charlotte Bradbury all achieved top-three positions. In the Crewe Open Championships, Dan Parry won the 100-yards butterfly, followed by Daniel Carragher and Joe Wood. In the girls 100-yards backstroke, Beth-any Mayer held off Stephanie Parker and Emma Kinsey to take gold.
