Flyers on form again

CREWE Flyers were in sparkling form at galas in Warrington and Sheffield.

At the Level Three meeting at Warrington, they claimed 48 final places out of 73 swims. Golds went to Anthony Ryan, Jordan Brooks, Austin Barton (2), Mike Eastwood (2) and Shannon Webb. Silver was notched by Conner Grayson (2), Toby Molyneux, Anthony Ryan (2), Austin Barton (3), Mike Eastwood (3) and Claudia Hamdy, and bronze was earned by Jordan Brooks (3) and Shannon Webb (2).

Final places and speeding tickets were achieved by Mitchell Crank and Dale Barton.

At the Level One Winter Distance Meet held at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, the Flyers competed in 27 events and notched 20 final positions.

Charlotte Bradbury claimed a pair of golds in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and James Mitchell won gold in the 100m breaststroke and bronze in the 1500m freestyle. Bethany Mayer finished in the top 10 six times, and Colette Foster twice.
